Default How's Reversal of Fortune work?

I'm not clear on how RoF works.
Say I have 12 in protection prayers, and I cast in on a party member.
That member gets hit for 100 damage. Is all damage mitigated, or just
the first 67 points?

RoF + 100dmg = 67 heal + 33 damage

or

Rof + 100dmg = 67 heal + 0 damage

Anyone know which way it works?

Don't forget that the RoF would also heal for the protected damage, which means to deal damage to a target with RoF, you need to do at least twice the number on the skill description..

Ie, if your RoF protects for 67, hits below 135 damage will either heal or not otherwise hurt the target.

A good side question would be how the healing is applied. Here are some situations(In all of them, your RoF protects for 50 damage).

You are at 100 life, and get hit by 151 damage. Would you die? Is the healing before or after the damage done?

You are at max life and get hit by 60 damage. Would you be at full health or -10 health? Same question, though there could be special code that makes these two instances work differently.
